Customized Plan
A targeted roadmap to math success—built just for your child.
Students don’t learn exactly the same way, which is why we design a personalized learning plan for every learner. Our process begins with a pre- assessment to identify current strengths, skill gaps, preferred learning modalities (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.), and areas of academic frustration or confidence.
We create dynamic roadmap plans that evolve as your student progresses, ensuring every session is focused, efficient, and aligned with both schoolwork and long-term academic goals. We incorporate a variety of instructional strategies, including interactive notebook, spiraling, and scaffolding.
We create lesson plans for each session to maximize mastery on different topics. Each lesson handout contains spiral warm-ups, criteria for success, check for understanding questions. Procedural fluency and applicational thinking is emphasized so students don’t just memorize steps, but truly understand the “why” behind the math.
Support & Feedback
We don’t just help students complete homework—we help them understand it. Our tutors provide in-depth support with school and session assignments to reinforce key concepts. Students are encouraged to reach out between sessions for quick support, ensuring questions are addressed promptly.
To measure real growth, we provide lesson assessments, unit exams and project-based assessments that test not just procedural skills, but deeper application so progress is visible, measurable, and lasting.
Parents play a critical role in student success, which is why we offer biweekly conference calls to provide updates, insights, and actions on how to best support goals. Families can also view session notes on our online portal containing lesson topics, strengths, areas of growth, and next action plan to ensure transparency and alignment.
Boost & Excel
If your child is struggling in math, you’re not alone and we’re here to help. Our Intervention program uses data-driven assessments to identify exactly where your child needs support, then build a customized plan to close those gaps. Whether it’s missing foundational skills like multiplication, fractions, or difficulty with algebra, we meet students at their level and guide them forward—step by step.
For students performing above grade level, our Acceleration program introduces advanced topics and problem-solving strategies that go beyond the standard curriculum. From exploring patterns and theorems, to tackling early college-level math, we challenge students to think deeper and make meaningful connections.
Test Preparation
We offer personalized test prep that does more than boost grades—it builds confidence and reduces anxiety. Our approach helps students feel calm, focused, and fully prepared for classroom tests and quizzes, state assessments, placement exams, and college readiness tests—focusing on time management, question format and problem-solving strategy.
We support students for placement and entrance tests outside the classroom including but not limited to: Texas STAAR, TSI, MAP, PSAT, and SAT. By reviewing recent lessons, practicing test-style problems, and focusing on problem-solving techniques, we not only improve academic results but also help students overcome math and testing anxiety.

Academic Coaching
At Mastermathics, we go beyond just solving problems—we focus on how your child thinks. We help students approach math with clarity by strategies that improve learning habits, executive function and academic performance. We make it our mission to teach students how to study effectively, manage homework, and prepare for assessments.
We also understand that school pressure can lead to frustration and anxiety. That’s why our tutors incorporate stress-reduction techniques such as planning and prioritization, tracking deadlines, promoting positive self talk and journaling to help balance school responsibilities.
These skills not only support academic success but allows students to take to take ownership and responsibility.
